A Day in the Life of student at Gurukula Vidyapeeth High School
Students life in Gurukula Vidyapeeth is very purposeful and fruitful right from the time they get up at 5’0′ Clock in the morning till they go to bed at 9:30 p.m Students are given freedom to pursue their individual tastes and hobbies on Sundays and other public holidays. Apart from regular classes, programmes of self-study , supervised-study and specials classes are drawn up with slight modifications to different classes and students of different abilities.
Fresh morning hours from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m. are devoted to learning Mathematics and Sciences. Supervised study hours are between 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. when teachers are available to clear the doubts of the students. Between 4:30 to 6:00 PM students are encouraged to participate in games of their choice. All the students spend the next half an-hour in practicing pranayama and meditation. For those interested in learning music and dance or cultivating any hobby, like photography, separate periods with competent instructors are allotted. The period of a student’s stay in the schools is designed to be intellectually educative and emotionally creative.
